The Enhancements team also manages several special and seasonal projects which strive to perpetuate the joy of childhood, assist our children feelings of inadequacy or being “less than” their peers due to the often tragic outcomes of disclosures of abuse. These special projects would not be possible without the support of volunteers and donors in the community.
•
The Back to School Project is a summer project which provides new backpacks and school supplies to sexually abused children and their siblings. We work with Ready to Learn, local vendors and community groups to secure the needed supplies. Volunteers help put the packs together, including a special gift toy for each child.
•
The Christmas Angel Project provides special holiday gifts to sexually abused children and their siblings, offering them an opportunity to experience the “joy of the holidays.” This heart warming project offers local businesses, community groups, schools and individuals an opportunity to make a holiday wish come true and create a beautiful memory for a child or family.

The Foster Care Package is our newest project. It provides children who are placed into foster care with a rolling duffle bag filled with the basic necessities and supplies they will need for their new journey. Please

If you, your family, community group, church, or business would like to help perpetuate these projects and help our children please send us an email or call us directly.
